Center for Advanced Studies on Terrorism

CAST is a non-profit foundation focused on meeting critical problems in the counter-terrorism and national security areas, with its primary objective of helping to provide better understanding of the evolving terrorist threats and effective responses.

CAST draws on experts from academia, government, and the corporate sectors to provide policy and operational analysis.

CAST supports conferences as well as training and educational activities and an ongoing publications program.

The CAST Mission

CAST’s mission is to help the Government and the public understand the nature and the magnitude of evolving terrorist threats against the U.S. and its allies, and formulate effective responses to the challenge of worldwide terrorism.
